Honoring community, dignity, and long-term stability for every generation.
My Relaxing Life™ was created from a deep commitment to community, dignity, and long-term stability. After years of witnessing gaps in support for seniors, young adults, families, and community members, we set out to build a model that honors lived experience while offering practical, compassionate pathways toward wellness and independence.
What began as a vision for peaceful, accessible living has grown into a national model rooted in cultural respect, emotional well-being, and the belief that everyone deserves a safe, supportive place to call home.
We envision communities where people of all ages can thrive—where seniors feel supported, young adults gain confidence and direction, families build stability, and community members experience belonging.
Our long-term vision is to expand My Relaxing Life™ into a national network of supportive, intergenerational communities that uplift individuals while strengthening the neighborhoods around them.
Accessibility — We design environments and programs that support independence, mobility, and comfort for all ages.
Community Connection — We believe that belonging and shared experience are essential to well-being.
Cultural Respect — We honor identity, history, and lived experience in every aspect of our work.
Wellness & Belonging — We create peaceful, supportive spaces that nurture emotional and physical wellness.
Our approach blends supportive housing, community programs, and wellness-focused services into a unified, culturally grounded model. We meet residents where they are, offering guidance, stability planning, and opportunities for growth in a calm, respectful environment.
Through trauma-informed practices, intergenerational support, and accessible design, we help individuals build confidence, strengthen life skills, and move toward long-term stability.
We are committed to creating communities that uplift, empower, and support every individual. Our work is grounded in the belief that stability is built through connection, and that people thrive when they feel seen, respected, and supported.
By integrating housing, programs, and community engagement, we create environments where residents can grow, heal, and build meaningful relationships.
Across the country, individuals and families face barriers to stability, wellness, and supportive housing. My Relaxing Life™ offers a model that addresses these challenges with dignity, compassion, and cultural awareness.
Our work matters because it fills a critical gap—providing peaceful, accessible living paired with programs that support emotional well-being, life skills, and long-term independence. We are building communities that change lives, one resident at a time.
My Relaxing Life™ honors the copper‑colored Indigenous descendants of the Five Civilized Tribes whose identities were reclassified multiple times throughout history. Many of our seniors, families, and community members were renamed, mislabeled, or placed into categories such as Colored, Negro, Black, or African‑American, despite being Indigenous to this land. These reclassifications separated families, erased birthrights, and disconnected entire generations from their true identity.
We acknowledge the harm caused by these systemic practices and affirm our commitment to restoring dignity, recognition, and cultural grounding for those whose lineage was altered or hidden. Our work centers the voices of our elders, uplifts our youth, and protects the cultural memory of communities who were never meant to be forgotten.
We recognize that copper‑colored Indigenous families were reclassified through paper genocide, census changes, and legal systems that erased their tribal identity and birthright. Seniors who lived through these changes were often forgotten, disconnected from their heritage, and left without recognition of who they truly were. Their children and grandchildren inherited identities that did not reflect their ancestry, history, or rightful place in this land.
My Relaxing Life™ is committed to restoring visibility, dignity, and belonging for these families. We honor the elders who carried the truth quietly, the youth seeking reconnection, and the generations working to reclaim what was taken. Our mission is rooted in cultural restoration, community healing, and the affirmation of birthright for those whose identity was rewritten by systems that never defined them.
